Changing Tastes

Growing up, I really did not like yellow interiors, particularly pastel painted walls in shades like butter and ecru that seemed to be ubiquitous at that time. But in recent years, I've come around to the idea of using saturated pops of yellow here and there to brighten up a room. I keep finding images where golden walls and furniture pieces look either cute and retro or fresh and modern; I can't deny it. What do you think?

Whew! That was seriously a lot of links. Maybe next time I don't need quite so many examples. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
