I got a package in the mail yesterday with some colorful buttons I can't wait to use in new brooches and other craft projects. I had been looking for the perfect buttons for a brooch I've already designed, and that made me wonder: do you guys design a project and then hunt for the supplies to make it? Or do you buy supplies first, and then find a use for them later?

Both! Sometimes I go to the store with something specific in mind... and other times I find cool things that inspire me.
ReplyDeleteI do it both ways. I have a super long list of projects which I really want to make soon and I've been in and out of Hobby Lobby like I live there. But this past week I bought a bunch of charms of Etsy and I don't know what I'm going to do with them yet. They were just too cute to pass up.
