New Moo Cards
I finally got around to ordering new business cards from Moo. They turned out pretty well this time. I made sure that the box for the "auto enhance" or whatever it's called was not checked, as last time it did weird things to some of the colors. (If you've edited the photos you're uploading, you wouldn't need that anyway.) I love the thickness and finish of the paper, and the fact that you can upload 50 different images, as well as your own logo artwork/business info on the back, is awesome.
The nice people at Moo sent me a referral link where you can save 10% on your first order of business cards should you fancy your own. And if anyone actually uses this link to buy cards, I get some sort of credit toward a future purchase of cards myself, so that's awesome. Hopefully, I'll run out of these really fast, as that will mean I've had lots of orders! :)

So glad you posted this - I was just looking into getting some (first ever) business cards. Mostly to advertise my blog, though.
ReplyDeleteDo you have a design on the back?
Angela
PS meant to say that I like the one with the embroidery thread :) so colorful.
DeleteAngela,
DeleteYes I have a banner of sorts going across the top of the back with "MY HIDEAWAY" in my shop font (I think you can upload a jpeg or gif). Then under that I have my shop address, blog, and email, and a little thank you line. You can do the whole back in photoshop if you want or use their layout and fonts. I should've shown a pic of the back too!
awesome, thanks!
DeleteLOVE your new biz cards!
ReplyDeleteBelieve it or not, I am right now, at this very moment designing a business card of my own. Talk about subconsciousness...
ReplyDeleteI just have to click your referral link and check. Maybe they ship to Norway?
And yes, I wish you to finish them pretty quickly!
Mary, what's in the first photo? Did you order a holder as well?
DeleteSonya, I just emailed you but thought I'd leave the same comment here in case others are wondering. The cards come in the boxes you see in the first photo. The top comes off and goes on the bottom so you can use it as a holder/stand on your desk or wherever. It's a pretty smart design, actually. And the boxes are made from recycled pulp and are recyclable, and the paper for the cards is sourced from sustainable forests. :)
DeleteNeat! I ordered some myself a while back. I'm satisfied with their product, I must say.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! I received mine some days ago and they are lovely!!
ReplyDeleteYour cards are great! I love how colorful they are. They are perfect for you.
ReplyDeleteYou just reminded me that I have to order some new ones myself.
