Scenes from Life

It's starting to feel like smoothie weather outside. My favorite flavor at this particular place is Infinite Orange.

Here's a card I made for an order going to Saint-Malo, France...an order I wouldn't have minded delivering in person.

I think the only thing I'll miss about this apartment when we move is feeling like I have the whole sky to myself.

My cooking has been pretty lazy lately, but for the most part, I'm still eating healthy. Here's a salad with spinach, arugula, red Swiss chard, romaine, grilled chicken, Mandarin oranges, cucumber, walnuts, dried cranberries, and pretty much anything else I could find in the fridge, topped with balsamic vinaigrette. Salads are easy because you just cut everything up and throw it in a bowl.

Here I used store-bought cheese tortellini, topped with a mixture of sauteed tomatoes, garlic, dried basil, and onion, drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with fresh grated Parmesan. Took no time at all.

If you look closely, you can see an Airedale in progress. He's already been promised to someone. Also, my desk is a mess.

Hope everyone has a good weekend. We will be venturing out to look at another place to possibly move to when our lease is up (cross your fingers for us), and I'm hoping we might also get to meet my friend's baby for the first time. It's important to hold cute squishy things from time to time. xo, Mary
