It's been a while since I did a shop update. I added this little sea turtle a couple of weeks ago. There are a few whales and a shark too, if you like sea creatures.
I also got the chance to make a custom poodle pin for a girl in Canada. She's getting ready to go off to university and wanted a brooch made of her dog Lacey to take with her. Isn't that sweet?
And I relisted this fireworks brooch from last year, which I think would be cute for the 4th of July without being all over-the-top USA! Of course, if you're into wearing flag pants or stars and stripes from head to toe, who am I to criticize?
I'm working on a few other things that aren't quite ready to list yet; hopefully, I'll have some new things to share in a couple of weeks!
What have you been making?
Love the little poodle...and the story behind it :) And you're right that the fireworks are great, but not over-the-top...perfect!
ReplyDeleteThat turtle is soo sweet!
ReplyDeleteI love all of these, especially the turtle. :) I haven't been making anything lately. Just working. That needs to change.
ReplyDeleteAh! They are all so cute!! I love the little bow on the poodle! nice touch!
ReplyDeleteAww, that turtle is the cutest thing.
ReplyDeleteI'm in the process of making a new sewing kit out of an old pickle jar. Which... sounds weird now that I'm saying it.
i'm with paige....CUTE turtle!
ReplyDeleteI really like the turtle; that is pretty cool! I'm glad that you were able to find a cute little stitch pattern to use for his shell. The poodle is nifty, too. They remind me, of course, of the ornament you made for me. :) I know exactly where it is, even after moving!
ReplyDeleteDawn - so glad to hear the ornament survived the move! And I just stitched the shell free-hand...that's why it probably isn't completely symmetrical or perfect; I prefer things a little looser. :)
