I think the first quote is so true...maybe it's a sentiment leftover from school days when fall always meant a new year full of possibility, excitement, and new friends. Or maybe it's simply that the wet blanket of summer has finally been lifted, and walks outside are refreshing rather than hot and sticky. Whatever the reason, fall is always a time of renewed energy, creativity, and celebration, and there's a lot to be excited about. :)
The wet blanket of summer, indeed! Is there a bigger buzzkill than getting sweaty on your way to the mailbox? I don't think so.
ReplyDeleteThat print is spot on. This is my favorite time of year.
I LOVE that wallpaper! The French coat rack is super cool too.
ReplyDeleteLiking the wrapping paper :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the print!!! I love the quote because I totally agree and I think a lot of it has to do with the school year. Incidentally I'm not a fan of the book The Great Gatsby. I read it in high school and was bored to death. I tried reading it again before the movie came out and was bored again. (I of course still watched it because I heart leo dicaprio)
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with you, I love fall.
ReplyDeleteThat coat rack is super cute!
Love that print! And the acorns are so cute. I'm seeing lots of fun projects for acorns lately!
ReplyDeleteI've been obsessed with Katie Daisy for a while... hand lettering is the best!
