I learned two things: get some of those water spikes to keep your planters evenly watered. Also, don't be affraid to pinch the plants as they start growing and becoming "leggy". It took me forever to get past the heartbreak of pinching off perfectly healthy little branches... I also brought my geraniums indoors as in years past and they always seem to survive. Whenever Mum goes to my Aunties' houses, she comes back with little stems that she's cut from their plants, and just puts them in a little glass with some water. I don't know what else she does to it, but they end up growing roots and it's pretty cool :D Beautiful photos!! I want to find this place and go exploring :D Rhi xx

The Wildest of DreamsAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07814682943425221792noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7832869492083004210.post-9118682596468528362012-12-12T06:18:52.308-05:002012-12-12T06:18:52.308-05:00Love those stars.

Bamboo and succulents are super easy to maintain, and this might sound weird, but IKEA actually has a pretty good fresh plant selection that's also very affordable (so in case they do die it's not the end of the world).Paige @ Little Nostalgiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11978050087934003216noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7832869492083004210.post-76437562373143339242012-12-11T09:19:33.147-05:002012-12-11T09:19:33.147-05:00Basil, bamboo, and rosemary have lasted forever in...Basil, bamboo, and rosemary have lasted forever in my tiny balcony garden! I don't exactly have a green thumb, but even with my neglect, they stay strong! I also have a terrarium of succulents left over from a wedding's centerpieces and they have been sturdy this whole time!Yellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00623066458275205721noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7832869492083004210.post-43313029967130080292012-12-11T07:53:30.287-05:002012-12-11T07:53:30.287-05:00Your pictures look great! You don't have to water that much and just need some sunlight. I would suggest plants that don't require that much light or water. That way if you forget to water the plant they won't die.
