A few pics from a sort of dreary day. I'm afraid winter weather is officially here, and I'm likely to go into hibernation mode any day now. That reminds me I need to go to the library and stock up on some good books.
Also, I wanted to share this beautiful brooch I bought from
House of Ismay for my mom. I blogged about
this shop last August, and I'm happy to say the brooch looks even better in person! I will definitely be back to buy more brooches from Sarah. I think this was my favorite present I bought this year.
Moody winter always manages to subordinate me. Or maybe I am moody as well :) I love the photos, especially the third one. And the brooch is lovely!
ReplyDeleteI was soo excited about the snow here in Charlottesville! Too bad it was just a little and now it's almost gone.
ReplyDeleteI remember when you first blogged about House of Ismay! I bookmarked the shop and still have it marked to this day. Someday, I'll buy something for myself from there. ;) It's cold here, too. We just started getting more snow, though the temperatures have been warmer. I enjoyed the photos of the drops on the window. I haven't done anything like that lately. Have a good weekend, missy!
ReplyDeleteIt has been snowing here too, heavily!
ReplyDeleteThe trees on the first picture look like veritable miniatures. :)
I just dropped by the shop but they're closed until next year... Still, the brooch is perfect!
That brooch is beautiful! What a lovely idea!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful moments captured. I love winter for that fact that I can get cuddled up inside like hibernation and it's totally exceptable.
ReplyDeleteLove the yarn wrapped bottle vase :)
