Bits of June
Admiring architecture, both man-made and nature-made.
My happiest days are always filled with art and garden walks.
Finding unexpected things while out and about, like a keyhole in a garden, fancy shadows, and a site-specific art installation (push pins holding back the earth, "Land Reform" by Strijdom van der Merwe). And wearing polka dots as usual.
Light and shadow is a marvelous thing...like when plants are unexpectedly projected on a wall in the living room, or the colors of sunset are reflected on shiny buildings on an evening commute...a walk through a shady wooded path where things were blooming nonetheless, and evenings on the patio before the mugginess of summer set in.

Beautiful! Particularly, the serendipitous wall art, the cast iron filigree, and the patina on that dome...
