Taking Time to Smell the Roses

Back in May (yes, I'm a little bit behind in posting photos), Peter and I decided to check out a rose garden nearby. It was one of the first really sunny days we'd had in a while, but still cool enough for tights and long sleeves...in other words, a perfect day to walk around a rose garden. I'd never really considered myself a rose person before, but after seeing all the truly stunning colors and varieties growing here, I was smitten.

Hope you enjoyed this walk with me. ;)

  1. So many roses!!! Did it smell nice. I bet it did. I love seeing roses of so many colors. They are so pretty although they aren't my favorite flower. It's funny that you mentioned these are old pictures because I just posted pictures from the farmer's market that were taken awhile ago.

  2. So pretty! I've always loved roses and I love that they come in so many colors.
My two rose bushes that we planted with my brother's memorial tree are doing great and I'm so happy they are still blooming :)
