This week is all about pastels! I've been having fun going through photos I've never posted before. All of these were taken in the spring and summer, but I'd largely forgotten about them.
"Thumbing" through digital files has brought back lots of good memories and definitely left me wanting to get outside and do some more exploring. And I will also say that doing this color theme series has helped me see a lot of photos in a new light.
Any favorite colors you'd like to see next? I guess it will somewhat depend on what I can dig up in my archives, but I'm definitely open to suggestions.
I can't tell you how happy I am that it's Friday. It has been a long and stressful week, and I am glad to have no plans and no agenda this weekend. I'll be making stuff for the shop for sure, catching up on blogs, watching movies, and hopefully getting out for an adventure or two. Hope you have a good one. xo, Mary
Love the second picture, and I love these colour series. I don't have a favourite colour, I like all of them (especially with fall and winter on their way)! Hope you'll have a good one too!
ReplyDeleteThere are so many colorful houses out there! Is that a common east coast thing? We get a lot of dusty blues and yellows around here, but I don't think I've ever seen a pink house in Illinois.

You ask a dangerous question, my friend: "Any favorite colors you'd like to see next?" TANGERINE. Tangerine, my friend. Or white. Actually, white things would be cool. I do like these themes, though, that you've created for yourself. I can completely understand how you would be able to see your own photos in a new light. You spend your time focusing on one specific aspect, rather than, "Is this image whole-heartedly worthy to be shared with the public? Will people like the background? Color? Shape? Texture? Framing? Focus?"
