Roosevelt Island

Last Saturday, we were lucky enough to enjoy a legitimately warm day. We knew that freezing temperatures would be back on Sunday so we decided to get outside and take a walk around Roosevelt Island. I hadn't been there in probably 5 or 6 years, but not much has changed...other than the last time we went it was summer and much greener. We waited till late in the day, figuring other people would probably have the same idea. We walked the path that circles the island, ran into a few friendly dogs, and crossed back over the bridge to Arlington as the sun was setting. It was really nice.

I'd really like to get out with my camera more soon; it looks like this coming weekend might be rainy, but I'm crossing my fingers. :)

Also, I've been working on new stuff for both shops...will do a shop update soon!

  1. How pretty! Even though it's various shades of brown right now, I can tell it would be stunning in the summer. I'll have to go the next time I'm out there visiting my friend!

  5. Nice Shots!! It was a lovely day on Saturday. I'm glad I picked that day to take pictures outside for my dress. Sunday was doom and gloom and it's just been cold, snowy and icy since! Here's hoping this weekend will look great!
