Let's Take a Walk

Just a few pics from last week...we saw the first signs of spring in the form of white blossom-tipped branches on a few trees. It's the latest I can ever remember witnessing this seasonal shift and most branches are still bare, but I'll take what I can get. I'm hoping to get a peek at the cherry blossoms soon too. :)

Old Town Alexandria, VA shops

Hope everyone has a great weekend. xo, Mary

  1. Those flowering trees are beautiful! We don't have a lot of those around here, but our neighbor has a small one in their yard that blooms pink for a few weeks. The petals blow all over the neighborhood.

It's going to 68 and sunny today, so I'm going to work outside for a while and then go for a hike. :-)

  2. You have a lovely neighborhood! My husband and I were saying the same thing last night...this is the latest we've ever seen the shift from winter to spring. What weird weather we've had this year!

  3. I love the shot of the white cherry blossoms with the white brick wall as a backdrop. Beautiful! We were in DC yesterday to enjoy the blooms. And out little cherry blossom tree in our tree box looks like it will soon bloom! So happy that spring is finally here!
