We don't see enough porches anymore, especially with these newer houses. If I had a porch, I would sit there all the time. :) Great pics, a lot of pink!
Oh, the front porch. My neighborhood is full of them, mostly because all of the homes are small Victorian cottages or bungalows. When I go out for walks or bike rides, it's nice to see so many neighbors out on their porches, talking, chatting, watching the afternoon pass by. I'd like to have a porch someday or, at the very least, I place to sit outside and enjoy the neighborhood. The ones you've shared here remind me my own area! The brick paths and the roses? It's quaintly pretty.
I was thinking, I love when Mary does a photo dump, and then I read Paige's comment! :) Such a gorgeous neighborhood. Really makes me want to come back and just walk around!
I really like your virtual walks! And it's cute to see actual rocking chairs on a porch. I know that's common in the south but nobody does it here.

ReplyDeleteThat porch looks magical! I'd love to have one to sit, read, and sip lemonade :-)
