Omelette + Gondry

Here are a couple of quick videos perfect for a lazy Sunday, which I hope you guys are having. :)

I need a dog like this in my life. And also an omelette.

I've been looking forward to seeing this movie for several months, though they have yet to announce a U.S. release date. It's been too long since I got lost in another world for a while, and few directors create such otherworldliness better than Michel Gondry.

Alma

Hi guys! This is my first post this week because I've come down with some sort of virus/infection/plague that pretty much has me glued to the couch, watching terrible television in a barely coherent daze.  The long holiday weekend was good actually. I wasn't that sick yet, so we spent lots of time with out-of-town friends we hadn't seen in years, laughed at lots of babies (seems like everyone has one these days), and spent some time outside in parks and gardens. The weather was perfect. Well, it was perfect for us, not so perfect for all those people who drove to the beach.

Anyway, I've been trying to catch up on my blog reader after so much time spent doing IRL things. I came across this animated short, called Alma, on Elsa's blog, and it's too good not to share. It has the perfect combination of cute and sorta creepy, which I find endlessly endearing. I hope you like it too!
