Candy Girl

The other night I dreamt I was at a party, and there was a long white cloth-covered table, as you'll often find at receptions, but this table's centerpiece was a massive, many-layered stone fountain. Instead of water, this fountain sprayed delicate arcs of candy that trickled down each tier, like something out of Willy Wonka. Now I want to make lots of candy pins in delicious colors. I took a break from unpacking and organizing to make this one. It reminds me of sherbet.

Look for it in My Hideaway later today. Has anyone else ever been inspired to create something from their dreams (or nightmares)?

  1. Looove this pin. The colors are beautiful... and you're right, it reminds me of sherbet as well! I love the idea of doing a whole candy/sweet themed line. :)

  4. This is so cute and it does remind me of sherbert too. I've been having some really wierd dreams lately. Can't imagine what creations they would inspire.

A candy fountain would be a great dream to have!

  5. I used to create stories from my dreams. Sometimes I get ideas from handbags from my dreams too. Cute brooch!

  6. How candy-sweet! I often get the most influential inspiration around bed time but not while I dream. Can't wait to see what new ideas you will come with after you have settled.
