New in the Shop

River Stones
Fall Leaves

I've been spending as much time as I can outdoors lately, which is quite uncharacteristic of me. Normally, I'd much rather be huddled over my drawing/craft table, or cuddled up on the couch reading a book or watching a movie. But after several weeks of truly horrible weather, I'm finding that I want to be outside and enjoy the moderate temperatures and sunshine while it lasts. I guess all this outdoorsy-ness has seeped into my creative consciousness because all I seem to make lately are nature-inspired brooches.

What are you inspired by right now?

  1. Crude textures, earthen colors. Fall is to blame, of course! ;)

  2. The leaf pin is soooo cute! It's starting to get cold here and I'm trying to be outside as much as I can too, even if those moments are few and far between. Anything to enjoy the last bits of not having to pile on winter coats!
