I don't usually do these year-in-review type posts; in fact, I've never done one as long as I've been blogging. But since it's the last day of the year, I thought it would be appropriate. Here are a few links to popular posts; perhaps there's one in here you missed the first time around.

7 Days of Sunsets

The Arlington County Fair

Indoor Fireworks

DIY Yarn-Wrapped Bottle Vase

A Walk in Autumn

New Light Fixtures for Our New House

A Day in DC

Getting Ready for a Pop-Up Shop

DIY Yellow Polka Dot Pitcher

A Night with Psycho, a Carousel, and Sculpture

I think I did somewhere around 185 posts this year, so picking just 10 was really hard. Anyway, thank you to all the people reading this right now! You make it fun to share a little bit of my world here, and I plan to keep going in 2013...hopefully, with more progress posts on decorating the house, more diys, more of my own art, and of course, "scenes from life." Oh, and Happy New Year's Eve, everybody! I hope everyone has an awesome night with good people. :)

  1. I remember "Indoor fireworks." I still like them. And your brooches look so nice all packaged up! I love it. The sunset one was interesting, too. I think more people should do similar things; we always see a sunset and think it's gorgeous, that it is the MOST beautiful one we've ever seen. And yet, we never compare them with all of the other things we see. Anyway, I'm going to look at the county fair one, as I am not sure I saw it the first time around... Happy New Year, Mary!

  2. That little yellow pitcher is so cute, and the seven days of sunsets was one of my favorites of the whole year. I did a recap on my blog today too, and I can't believe it's already the end of 2012. Thanksgiving was just the other day, right?!

    Happy New Year! :-)

  3. Thank you for sharing! I have read ALL of your posts of the past year and it was a good year. Love the yellow pitcher and the fireworks! Can't wait to see what you have in-store for us in the future.

  4. These are some of my favorite posts of yours too. :) Looking forward to more in 2013! Happy New Year!

  5. This is a great idea, Mary. I am glad you did it. I haven't read any of the posts you've highlighted, but I will be coming back to read the list. Happy New Year! May this year be amazing to you.

    Very best,

  6. Happy New Year Mary!
I've really enjoyed reading your blog this past year and look forward to your new content in 2013 :)

  7. The fireworks embroidery is candy-like...

  8. Happy New Year! Thanks for some great inspiration over the last year!

  9. I look forward to another year of your great posts!

    Happy New Year!!
I wish you a happy, healthy, and successful New Year.
