November Color

We spent almost all of last weekend doing work around the house, and by Sunday afternoon, I was desperate to get out of the house and do something fun. I know that yard work and house work are part of life, but entire weekends should not be lost to doing chores in my opinion, at least not if you can help it. So Sunday afternoon around 4pm, we put down the tools and went to get coffee and take a walk in the garden up the street from our house. We were met with vibrant colors, rustling leaves, a few birds calling here and there, and a beautiful sunset. It was just the break we needed before grocery shopping and other errands. We ended the night curled up on the couch watching reruns of Big Bang Theory. All in all, not a bad way to spend a Sunday. :)

Color for today...white!!! It was in the 60s yesterday and now we have snow flurries and huge wind gusts. I'm so not ready for this!
Glad you got out to enjoy the day. Sounds like a relaxing Sunday :)

  3. Wow - your photos are so gorgeous! Around here (Seattle area), most of the trees are evergreens so we don't get a lot of those stunning fall colors.
